Publix now requiring penny item q...

I, Brandi, was told by my Publix this morning that you will now need the penny item q found in your Wednesday's paper if you want the item. I do not get the Wednesday paper and am not buying it just to get the penny item....boo. Are your stores continuing to change policies too? Thanks TLC.....
