There is a great program called Angel Food Ministry. You can bulk order boxes of food for a low price once a month. It is very reasonable and a good alternative if you don't have time to coupon, can't get out much due to disability or illness, or just want to supplement your savings.
Go HERE to read more about it and find local area churches/locations that host this program. There were 10 locations within a 20 mile radius of my zipcode!
